MIAMI, Nov. 23, 2009 – Adding to the excitement and energy surrounding the debut of Royal Caribbean International’s newest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, which arrived on Nov. 13, 2009 into her homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the global cruise line reached yet another important milestone in the company’s history, the “floating out” of Allure of the Seas.  The next Oasis-class ship, Allure of the Seas was moved from dry dock to wet dock on Friday at the STX Europe shipyard in Turku, Finland, signaling that the second of the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship is nearing completion and will soon be ready to wow guests of her own.

“This is simply a thrilling time for Royal Caribbean,” said Adam Goldstein, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.  “Oasis of the Seas has been welcoming her first guests these past few days, and to think that Allure of the Seas will follow suit in just one short year is just extraordinary.”

When she launches in December 2010, Allure of the Seas will boast the many extraordinary features and amenities currently being introduced onboard Oasis of the Sea, sharing the title of the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship.  From seven themed neighborhoods – Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, Pool & Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone – to unparalleled dining, shopping and entertainment, she will continue to delivery the signature “wow” experience Royal Caribbean is known for, providing guests with vacation memories that will last a lifetime.
