2017年8月16日，上海——全球豪华游轮领导品牌皇家加勒比国际游轮（简称：皇家加勒比）今日宣布正式启动建造“超量子系列”（Quantum Ultra Class）豪华游轮， 并命名第一艘“超量子系列”游轮为“海洋光谱号”（Spectrum of the Seas)。
北京时间16日凌晨，“海洋光谱号”的第一块钢板切割仪式在位于德国庞贝（Papenburg）的迈尔（Meyer Werft）船厂举行，这艘专为中国市场及亚太市场打造的豪华游轮，将于2019年完工下水，并来华部署航线。“超量子系列”是在“量子系列”的基础上进一步提升拓展，增加高科技含量，所打造的全新游轮系列，将为中国游轮市场带来里程碑式的革新与突破。
“超量子系列‘海洋光谱号’的正式建造意义非凡，皇家加勒比将凭借这艘全新打造的标志性的豪华游轮为亚太市场呈现更为精彩的超凡体验。”皇家加勒比全球总裁兼首席执行官迈克·贝勒先生表示：“‘海洋光谱号’将在国际游轮建造和提升客人体验上实现巨大的进步与飞跃，为消费者们创造更多难忘的美好记忆。”
众所周知，皇家加勒比先后于2015和2016年在华部署“量子系列”的“海洋量子号”和“海洋赞礼号”，系国际游轮行业首次将新船部署于新兴的中国游轮市场，被誉为“来自未来的游轮”，以其高科技含量和极富创意的设施，为中国游轮行业的硬件水准和服务品质带来了量子级的飞跃。
皇家加勒比全球高级副总裁，中国和北亚区总裁刘淄楠博士在媒体专访中表示：“超量子系列凝聚了皇家加勒比过去十年在华不断进行产品优化实践的经验，是对国际游轮产业新船设计创意和建造水准发起的又一次冲击，必将给中国游轮市场的发展带来新的量子级飞跃。”
为庆祝“超量子系列”的动工，皇家加勒比于同一天在停靠上海吴淞口国际邮轮港的“海洋量子号”上举行了“海洋光谱号”的命名仪式，并向全国消费者发起“我心中的超量子系列”畅想征选活动。活动设1-3等奖，1等奖为“海洋光谱号”从北大西洋历经直布罗陀、地中海、苏伊士运河、阿拉伯海、印度洋、安达曼海、中国南海、太平洋，到中国上海的12国52 天游轮行程；2等奖为“海洋光谱号”从新加坡至上海8天行程，3等奖为“海洋光谱号”的中国首航行程。详情请关注皇家加勒比国际游轮官网。http://www.rcclchina.com.cn/
