CONSUMER DEMAND SPARKS ROYAL CARIBBEAN TO OPEN NEW ICON OF THE SEAS VACATIONS EARLY

After Breaking All-Time Booking Records, the First-of-its-Kind Vacation is Now Open for 2025-26 and Visiting New Destinations in the Caribbean from Miami
September 2023 – New vacations on Icon of the Seas open three months ahead of schedule, following a historic response. The 7-night Caribbean vacations from Miami in 2025-26 include Royal Caribbean's award-winning private island Perfect Day at CocoCay every week and new destinations Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
October 2022 – Adventurers on Icon of the Seas are in for the ultimate thrill at the largest waterpark at sea, Category 6. Thrill Island’s six record-breaking slides reach new heights: Pressure Drop, the industry’s first open free-fall slide; Frightening Bolt, the tallest drop slide at sea; Storm Surge and Hurricane Hunter, the first family raft slides with four riders per raft; and Storm Chasers, cruising’s first mat-racing duo.
October 2022 – In the new Chill Island on Icon of the Seas, there’s a pool for every mood, each with prime ocean views. Among the seven pools on board, the four in this three-deck slice of paradise include the vibrant Swim & Tonic, the line’s first swim-up bar at sea; and Royal Bay Pool, the largest pool at sea.
October 2022 – Perched at the top of Icon of the Seas, the new AquaDome is a transformational neighborhood. In a tranquil oasis by day, guests can take in wraparound ocean views and an awe-inspiring waterfall as they enjoy a bite or drink. By night, it becomes a vibrant hot spot, complete with restaurants, bars and the cruise line’s marquee aqua shows at the next-level AquaTheater.

MIAMI, Sept. 12, 2023 – Following a record-breaking response to the new Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International is opening the highly anticipated vacation’s next lineup of 7-night adventures from Miami three months ahead of schedule. The cruise line saw the single largest booking day and highest volume booking week in its history when Icon was first revealed in October 2022. Royal Caribbean is answering the unprecedented interest with the early release of Icon’s 2025-2026 vacations to top-rated private island Perfect Day at CocoCay and new destinations: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Vacationers can be one of the first to book starting tomorrow, Sept. 13, on Royal Caribbean’s website. Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members have special access starting today.
