ROYAL CARIBBEAN EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS TO JOIN THE GROWING LINEUP OF BAHAMIAN OWNED COMPANIES TIED TO THE ROYAL BEACH CLUB PARADISE ISLAND

NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS, Feb. 27, 2025 – Royal Caribbean is extending the deadline for Bahamian businesses to submit proposals to become a part of the experience of its 17-acre Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island. Since opening dozens of opportunities earlier this month, Royal Caribbean has received a positive response from Bahamian entrepreneurs ready to become a part of bringing the ultimate beach day to life.

From facilities and pool maintenance to local ticket sales and landscaping, the possibilities for Bahamian business opportunities range across a variety of goods and services.

“There is a lot of excitement on this project, and we are delighted by the response we’ve had since the requests for proposals opened,” said Philip Simon, President, Royal Caribbean Bahamas. “These upcoming business awards ensure that we continue to deliver on the promise of a Bahamian attraction that benefits the Bahamian economy and helps create entrepreneurial and employment opportunities for Bahamians.”

Businesses submitting proposals will join the growing lineup of Bahamian companies already working on the Royal Beach Club development including Island Site Design (ISD), Bahamas Environmental Group (BEG), Engineering and Technical Services (ETS), Wemco, JSS Environmental Consulting Services, and SEV Consulting Group. Each company is an integral part of the project’s construction, which broke ground in April 2024.
