SYDNEY, 1 May 2025 – Adventure is arriving ahead of schedule as Royal Caribbean reveals its most thrilling summer Down Under in 2026-2027. Joining Anthem of the Seas in Sydney, fan-favourite Quantum of the Seas will make its highly anticipated return to Brisbane in October, packed with more short getaways and weekend departures than ever before. Between October 2026 and April 2027, the two top-rated holiday experiences have in store a combination of 3- to 11-night getaways to an array of destinations across Australia, the sun-soaked South Pacific, and breathtaking New Zealand. The new lineup of holidays, along with a showstopping 25-night bucket list adventure from Los Angeles, are available to book now.
“Australians know they can trust Royal Caribbean for getaways that combine convenience with nonstop adventure. This season, we’re continuing to raise the bar with more short getaways, weekend departures, and more ways to maximise island time across the top destinations of the South Pacific,” said Gavin Smith, vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean International. “With the variety of short and more frequent getaways in 2026 and 2027, every type of holidaymaker can make the most of their travels and without compromise.”
Doubling down on Quantum Class energy with Quantum and Anthem, there are even more ways to maximise every moment at sea with next-level thrills. Holidaymakers can defy gravity on the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, hang ten on the FlowRider surf simulator and soak up record-breaking views from the North Star observation capsule. When it’s time to refuel, there’s a variety of ways to dine, including fresh sashimi at Izumi, premium steaks at Chops Grille and family-style Tuscan favourites at Jamie’s Italian. As the sun sets, the excitement continues with deck-defying entertainment taking centre-stage with Anthem’s Olivier Award-winning phenomenon, “We Will Rock You”, and on both ships, world-class entertainment at the Royal Theatre and Two70 and live music across Music Hall, Schooner Bar and more. When it’s time to unwind, holidaymakers can retreat at the serene Vitality Spa, adults-only Solarium and the state-of-the-art Fitness Center with panoramic ocean views.
Quantum of the Seas – From Brisbane, Australia
After introducing a whole new holiday experience to the Queensland market, Quantum will make a triumphant comeback to Brisbane in October for its fourth year as the largest ship in the region. Sun-seekers can choose from 28 holidays ranging from three to eight nights of exploring sun-soaked South Pacific locales across Noumea, New Caledonia; Port Vila, Mystery Island, Vanuatu, featuring two 8-night tropical getaways over Christmas and the New Year. Closer to home, holidaymakers can choose from 4- to 7-night getaways including Airlie Beach and Cairns, Australia, putting Queensland’s own tropical gems at their fingertips.
Flexibility is at the heart of Quantum’s 2026-27 lineup, featuring even more 7-night getaways departing over the weekend. These adventures offer the perfect chance for families and holidaymakers of all ages to celebrate any occasion and maximise their island time like never before, with longer 7- to 8-night adventures to the South Pacific.
Anthem of the Seas – From Sydney, Australia
Back for an encore unforgettable summer, Anthem will continue to shine in the iconic Sydney Harbour starting October 2026 with 21 escapes ranging from three to 11 nights. Holidaymakers can explore sparkling southern coastlines with two 4-night getaways to Hobart or venture further to discover the crystal-clear waters of the South Pacific and picturesque New Zealand landscapes.
All-new 9-night New Zealand getaways will join the bold summer lineup, making must-see jewels like Wellington, Napier, Dunedin and Milford Sound more accessible, so young families can experience the best of the region in one trip.
The showstopper of the summer is a spectacular 25-night bucket-list Pacific adventure from Los Angeles, giving globe-trotters venturing north of the equator the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Australia in style on Quantum. Holidaymakers can swap their plane ticket for a memorable adventure traversing the Pacific Ocean while exploring stunning destinations – from the lush islands of Hawaii to the turquoise waters of French Polynesia. In an exciting first, adventurers can also visit a brand-new destination for Australian holidays by soaking up the coastal charm of California’s Catalina Island.
