Navigator of the Seas Sails Amped Up with Firsts and Favorites

March 2019 - Royal Caribbean International’s newly amplified Navigator of the Seas is sailing from her year-round home in Miami with a $115 million new look. Royal Caribbean International’s newly amplified Navigator of the Seas is now sailing from her new year-round home in Miami with a $115 million new look. With a thrilling combination of bold, new adventures and Royal Caribbean favorites, including adrenaline-inducing experiences, an array of elevated dining and nightlife and memory-making moments, Navigator has been reimagined into the ultimate short Caribbean getaway from South Florida. The 3,386-guest ship offers sail 5- and 9-night Caribbean itineraries through May 2019, and then sets course for The Bahamas with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday cruises, including visits to the cruise line’s new, highly anticipated private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay – the unparalleled thrill and chill destination.

A First Look at the World’s Biggest Weekend, Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas

June 2023 – Introducing the ultimate 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday getaway, Royal Caribbean International’s Utopia of the Seas. The new vacation is the first game-changing Oasis Class ship to debut with short getaways, setting the stage to make more memories in one short trip than ever before. Groups of friends and families can celebrate with unmatched weekend energy across all-new and returning experiences, more than 40 ways to dine and drink, more pools than the days to count, thrills and ways to chill, and more of all the above at Perfect Day at CocoCay – Royal Caribbean’s private island in The Bahamas – on every cruise. Utopia debuts July 2024 from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, and will set sail every Friday and Monday year-round.

May 2023 - In “Making an Icon: Creating Chill Island and The Hideaway,” Royal Caribbean’s innovators across naval architecture, design, food and beverage operations, and product development break down the pools, dining, bars and more that make up the ways to chill on Icon of the Seas. Designing the new Chill Island and The Hideaway neighborhoods came down to engineering more water on the top of a cruise ship than ever before and the purposeful combination of different experiences and vibes for every mood and vacationer. Discover how it was all made possible, from adding five pools – including the first suspended infinity pool at sea – to creating a variety of ways to grab a bite and drinks.

New and Reimagined Family Experiences on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas

April 2023 – Royal Caribbean International is taking family vacations to the next level when Icon of the Seas debuts in January 2024. Kids, teens and adults can make memories together and enjoy their own adventures from bow to stern. The thrills and ways to chill run the gamut, from new activities in Surfside like the Larger-than-Life Family Festival and the Steel Pan Family Jam hosted by Admiral Awesome – a newly created role in charge of the family experiences on board – and bolder favorites such as Adventure Ocean for the kids, teens’ Social 020, the Royal Escape Room and laser tag.

Icon Extra: The Top Deck Challenge on Icon of the Seas

March 2023 – Creating unrivaled water experiences for the world’s best family vacation comes with a unique set of challenges, an unprecedented amount of water and weight. In this Icon Extra, “The Top Deck Challenge,” hear from the Royal Caribbean experts tackling one of the biggest tests of engineering, naval architecture and design as they construct Icon of the Seas. They dive into the ship’s top deck, where adventurers will find the largest waterpark at sea at the new Thrill Island, all kinds of pools at Chill Island and The Hideaway, and more.
