Introducing Royal Caribbean: Hide 'N' Sea by Fortnite Creative

March 2023 – Royal Caribbean International is bringing the world’s best family vacation to one of the world’s most played video games, Fortnite, Royal Caribbean: Hide ’N’ Sea. Built using Fortnite Creative, the newest addition to the metaverse is the first, one-of-a-kind adventure players can experience on Icon of the Seas ahead of its debut in January 2024. Players can hide or seek and collect coins in Thrill Island and The Hideaway, two of eight revolutionary neighborhoods.

In “Making an Icon: Creating Thrill Island,” the innovators cover the adventures in store and how they are pushing the envelope on cruise ship design by adding more weight at the top of Icon with six record-breaking waterslides and more water than ever before. The thrill-o-meter will be off the charts for thrill-seekers and their families who cheer them on in this new neighborhood when Icon sets sail in January 2024.

Introducing Thrill Island: A Lost Island Adventure with First-Time Thrills and Favorites on Icon of the Seas

October 2022 – Introducing Thrill Island on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas. Vacationers can scale new heights and reach top speeds with adventures that run the gamut, including Category 6 waterpark, the largest waterpark at sea; the daring Crown’s Edge experience; and returning favorites like the FlowRider surf simulator and new takes on mini golf at Lost Dunes and rock climbing at Adrenaline Peak.
