Royal Caribbean Presents inTENse: An All-woman Cast Defies Heights and Gravity at the AquaTheater

March 2023 – From the first beat to the moment the proverbial curtain goes down, Royal Caribbean International’s inTENse on Wonder of the Seas lives up to its name. The village of entertainment professionals that brings this powerhouse production to life in the cruise line’s signature AquaTheater venue includes an all-woman cast of 20 talented athletes. They are among the world’s top slackliners, high divers, aerialists, synchronized swimmers and more, and they perform deck-defying feats with power, passion and teamwork to create a showstopping experience night after night on an unparalleled “stage” that features advanced technology to push the envelope across all the senses.

Wonder of the Seas Naming Ceremony EPK

December 2022 – Royal Caribbean International officially welcomed Wonder of the Seas into the family in its new year-round home of Port Canaveral, Florida. Godmother and Wonder Mom from Pennsylvania Marie McCrea bestowed a blessing of safekeeping on the new ship, its crew and all who sail on it. In the one-of-a-kind AquaTheater, she was joined by Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty, Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley, and her daughter, Allie, who nominated her for the role as part of the TikTok search launched by the cruise line.

April 2024 – Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas will get the party of all parties started with unmatched weekend energy when it debuts with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday getaways from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, in July. December 2023 – For the first time since the introduction of the Royal Promenade in 1999, the vibrant, all-time favorite debuts floor-to-ceiling ocean views on Royal Caribbean International’s Icon of the Seas. Behind the architectural and engineering feat, and front and in center in the boldly reimagined neighborhood, is The Pearl. Get a look behind the scenes as the experts share what the journey was like to design and build a key structure that could support three decks and open up the neighborhood in a whole new way for vacationers, creating what is now the world’s largest kinetic art sculpture.

More than five years in the making, the playbill of entertainment on the first-of-its-kind combination of every vacation is a show-stopping lineup for everyone.
