About Us
Royal Caribbean International is a global cruise brand with 22 innovative ships, calling on more than 270 destinations in 72 countries across six continents. The line also offers unique cruise tour land packages in Alaska, Canada, Dubai, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand.

Royal Caribbean provides a world-class vacation experience with a wide range of signature onboard amenities, entertainment, and award-winning family programming. The cruise line has a 40-year history of giving guests the Royal Advantage - the most innovative cruise ships, exciting itineraries to popular destinations, and world-renowned friendly and engaging Gold Anchor Service. Royal Caribbean has been voted "Best Cruise Line Overall" for nine consecutive years in the Travel Weekly Readers' Choice Awards.

The cruise line built its reputation on providing the most innovative cruise experiences. The line redefined cruising for the modern traveler in 1999 by first introducing onboard amenities on its Voyager-class ships, such as a rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink, and the Royal Promenade, a main boulevard of shops, restaurants and lounges that runs the length of the ship.

In May 2006, the line launched Freedom of the Seas, which further transformed the cruise experience, exclusively featuring the FlowRider surf simulator, the H20 Zone aqua park, cantilevered whirlpools suspended 112 feet above the ocean, a boxing ring, and the 1,215-square-foot Presidential Family Suite, which sleeps up to 14.

In December 2009 Royal Caribbean once again revolutionized the industry with the introduction of Oasis of the Seas. An architectural marvel at sea, she spans 16 decks, encompass 220,000 gross registered tons (GRT), carries 5,400 guests at double occupancy, and features 2,700 staterooms. Oasis of the Seas was the first ship to tout the cruise line's new neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, which includes Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone. In 2010, Oasis of the Seas was joined by her sister-ship Allure of the Seas. Both ships sail from her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
