October 2025 – Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas will introduce the all-new Royal Railway – Legend Station, an immersive train car dining concept. The five-course experience combines entertainment, food and technology to take vacationers on a journey along the Silk Routes to historic destinations across China, India, Italy and more.

September 2025 — Royal Caribbean’s fourth Icon Class vacation has officially started physical construction and marked the milestone with a keel-laying ceremony. The moment took place at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland, where the first block of the ship was lifted and placed on top of a layer of freshly minted coins.

August 2025 – Royal Caribbean has selected research astronaut Kellie Gerardi as godmother of Star of the Seas. The 90th woman in history to fly to space, Gerardi is a payload specialist, researcher, children’s book author and devoted mother who inspires millions of people daily. She will participate in the maritime tradition of blessing Star during a celebratory naming ceremony at its year-round homeport of Port Canaveral, Florida, on Aug. 20, 2025.
